Site refurbishment and road building

We plan, develop and carry out solutions in every area of civil engineering and development, from demolition and site remediation to sewer and road construction.

Our particular field of expertise is the production of comprehensive development concepts for former industrial sites, and specifically steel and iron works.

Belval

Since 2000, AGORA has been developing a new modern city quarter on the site of the former steelworks in southern Luxembourg. Covering an area of 120 hectares in the municipalities of Esch-sur-Alzette and Sanem, the project is one of the most ambitious urban development undertakings in Europe.

Quartier Alzette

In February 2016 Agora was commissioned with carrying out a feasibility study with a view to regenerating the former steel production site of Esch-Schifflange. The study forms part of an agreement between the State of Luxembourg and ArcelorMittal.
